I have considered buying this filter for over a year. I treated myself to this and have certainly not been disappointed.
My plan was to use it on walking trips to reduce the weight of my bag. However, I have found it so good at improving the taste of the tap water in my house that I use it to fill my water bottle for the day. I have conducted a taste test on my wife who wouldn't usually approve of such purchases. However, she picked the filter water as tasting better and commented on the crispness of the taste.
It is very simple to use, simply fill the pouch from any water source, attach the filter and squeeze. The flow rate is pretty quick considering what it is achieving. It is also very light but appears to be very sturdy.

Bought this a loooong time ago and have only recently had the opportunity to use it.
Went for a wild camp up on Dartmoor, took no water with me but I did take two bottles of Coca Cola after reading somewhere that the water filter screws onto the bottles. Before I headed off I ran some water through it at home on the recommendation of someone I know and all I took with me was the filter itself.
Using it was a breeze. Filled an empty Cola bottle with river water (the water was brown due to the peat!) screwed the filter on and squeezed the bottle gently. I was amazed at how fast it went through without feeling like it was being pressured or forced through faster than I should have - in other words, it handled it no problem.
Drank quite a bit in the form of cups of coffee and two weeks later I've not had any upset stomach problems.

I've used this quite a lot on two wild camping / bothy trips. Recently it was my only source of water for a five day, four night wild camping trip. It performed very well with running fresh water from rivers and streams and one particularly peaty stream. It provides clean, safe, great-tasting water and literally takes all of the particulate out of the water, even colouring from silt / bogs and I've had no issues from drinking the water from this unit. The provided water bottle/bag does not hold a lot of water and is hard to fill, especially in freezing cold streams. Instead I tend to carry a large, cheap 2 litre mineral water bottle from the supermarket which I will compress / roll up and store in my crampon pocket of my backpack. Freezing is an issue with this filter and to be on the safe side I always blow the remaining water out of the filter after using and keep in my sleeping bag / on my person overnight when in cold conditions.

What a great little product, small lightweight and practical, that's what you want any day of the week on the trail. The only downside is, I found the squeeze bag a little too small for my liking, constantly need to fill up and filter. A large squeeze bag would be ideal.

I replace my filter after every backpacking season. I have used filters from Sawyer, LifeStraw and MSR. They are all basically the same with minor appearance differences.
This one is the same as the others and a few bucks cheaper. My only gripe with this is it doesn't have a cap on both ends (some of the other manufacturer ones dont either).
Also there is nothing on the package that warns you if you drop or the filter freezes it will be junk. Please keep that in mind.

A couple of features that stood out for me - They reinforced the top of the water filter bag with a hard / sturdy plastic to keep it stable when full/filled AND the soft and pliable straw is way nicer than the rigid plastic ones often included with other straw filter devices. I feel this product is a good choice overall. I look forward to using it out in the mountains / wilderness, cheers!

Work great and very easy to clean by back flushing. Provides potable water from visibly contaminated water by the gallons before requiring back flush which takes all of about one minute.

I've bought this as part of my survival kit for anytime I'm out. Tastes good from fresh fast flowing streams, but just to be clear, this product won't filter chemicals, like agricultural run off or viruses.
